Ramses The 2nd Was The Third Pharaoh Of The 19th Dynasty
He had a reputation of being a great warrior
Ramses had 200 wives
Ramses also had 100 sons and 60 daughters. Two of his daughters got "promoted" to becoming his wives.
His favorite wife was Nefertai
Although he was so devoted to himself he also wrote to Nefertai about her love and beauty
He also built her a magnificent tomb.
Nefertai
After Nefertai died his 2nd favorite wife Istnofret became his first favorite wife, and his daughters became his consorts.
Ramses was famous for recording histories of his accomplishments and for embellishing the facts when they did not quite fit history as he wished it preserved
Ramses had his workers build him a huge statue of him.
The statue of Ramses was designed to show him as a mighty warrior, and a living god
