Themes
The main theme of the music video was and print products was rap/hip-hop and I have represented this through all of my products by using the same photos from the same locations within our music video and as you can see with my advert on the left I have matched the low-key lighting which was consistent throughout our music video and I have also done this with the rest of my print products which gives that link between all my products and makes it them relate to the music video. My front cover and CD have very similar designs in comparison to my advert and inside CD cover as the main colour which is slightly overpowering is the red which works really well with the black to match the contents of the music video.
Content
My advert is inspired by G-Eazy and although you may not notice a comparison I used the same full body shot but facing the front instead of the artist facing the back of the camera, also using the dark lighting to reflect the themes of our music video. I was also inspired by French Montana's CD cover with the use of double exposure with the city in the background which I have also followed with my CD cover and advert and this effect is something that isn't used that often and it really works well with the mood we have set in our music video (mysterious, dramatic) and as you can see on the advert I have made the lighting very dramatic with the overly darkened background just highlighting some of the artist in red lines. I have also copied a similar idea across all my print products using a glitch effect which was on the CD back cover and inside cover. Like most CD's I made sure to include the list of songs
within the album that '5am' is in to make it as professional
looking as possible.

House Style
For the inside of the CD cover it will also contain the CD and there is a consistency with the glitch effect and I made sure to follow this through on all my products as I like the effect and feel it works well and makes the product more visually appealing.
For the front and back of my CD cover I made sure that the colour scheme was consistent and used the double exposure on the front cover (on the right). I used all the relevant logo's related to logic and this specific song, and used a relatively simple bold font for the title both on the front cover and side bar.
For my advert I used a photo of a building close up in the background and then overlaid the image of the artist to get that texture effect, I again used simple fonts for the reviews and availability of the song on various platforms. Also to make it as professional as possible I included the parental guidence logo due to explicit content
Imagery
In our music video we filmed in 4 locations and ordered it in the video to show a journey as you would in a documentary and added documentry like elements such as cut footage that wouldn't normally be used. We made sure that we used each location succesfully so when we were in leake street we made sure we filmed the part of the drug dealing as that isn't something you would do in a place like sky gardens (another one of our locations). We done our best to make sure the locations reflected the mood of the video for example when we were in leake street the lighting was very dim and used that to get silhouette shots to give that mysterious effect, and when in sky gardens we used that to show the success of the artist and how far he has made it.
Language
In all of my products I have included logo's relating to the artist and have used simple fonts and on all of my packaging to keep it consistent and professional looking, which I have noticed on all of my case studies, as multiple fonts make the product look disorganised and not visually appealing. In the real world the distribution methods would be clear as on my advert I made it clear about the availability of the song (CD and spotify) and also the advert would be placed in areas such as bus stops and billboards were most advertisements are located and this is to attract a wider target audience.
