1. How does each possible solution for your chosen issue meet or fail to meet each of your criteria? Explain.
There are several different types of treatments to prevent and to decrease water pollution that caught my attention the most. For instance placing Biological filters, creating chemical additives, and even Sand filters
The first solution would be a Biological filter treatment in order for it to work it consist of plastic balls, rings or open-profile bio-media that have massive surface areas for beneficial bacteria to adhere to and colonize which would increase the profit for factories that make plastic.
Now for the second solution depending on the type of chemical used added to the water will cause the water to be clean, or if the chemicals are not strong enough or do not work on the water then that’ll be a waste of money for the government and the people had a raise in profit for the companies that sell the chemicals that were being used.
Last but not least sand filters which is used to purify the water which is not the easiest and most convenient since it is very delicate and can damage quickly. Some people would oppose to these certain solution because these simple techniques cost a great amount of money to maintain.
