character Analysis

She wrote in her diary about her feeling and observations about the holocaust and about how she went into hiding for years. Anne Frank didn't really have a connection with any of her family members except her dad so her diary was pretty much her best friend.  In her diary she wrote about how she was hiding from the Nazis  because  the Nazis wanted all the Jewish people dead. Anne Frank wrote sometimes about her loneliness and isolation  during hiding. At the start of the diary Anne describes fairly typical girlhood experiences, writing about her friendships with other girls, crushes on boys, and her academics performances at school.

Anne Frank didn't really have any real friends so that motivated her to start writing to her diary  also know as "kitty". She felt that it was not fair that the Nazi's wanted to persecute the Jewish,  also because she considered herself German so that made her believe that fight was unfair.
Historical perspective
