This biome doesn't get much rain but, so that's why they don't have that many trees and more grass. There is only 2% of free land in North America because of farming. During the 1800's the was lots of poaching that's why there are so many endangered animals today. There are 2 type of grasslands on the Earth, tropical, and temperate. Grasslands can cover every desert in Asia. They are also are home to many animals.

People can harm this biome by farming and clearing the land, because it makes animals leave their homes, to were they are homeless. And people also do illegal poaching towards the endangered animals which causes most endangered animals to go extinct.

There can be ways that humans can harm the grasslands but there are also ways that they can help this biome. One is, the laws against hunting endangered and organizations that go and find the ones hunting the endangered animals. Second is, to replant some areas that were farmed on or destroyed.

There are plenty of interesting facts about this biome, but here are just a few amazing things about this biome. First, there is 25% of the Earths is covered in this biome. Second, the grassland biome is on every continent except in Antarctica.
