We compared their record labels and looked through if any of the artists had similar record labels....

We decided to go with the record label 'IAM SOUND'.
It is an independent record label from Californa. Although it is an American record label it main genre that it signs on is Indie pop. More over most of their artsits are from the UK such as Charli XCX, Florence and the machine and The black Ghosts.

WHY...?
Independent labels are allowed more creative freedom, this is important for our artist as we wanted to follow the convention that most indie pop artists such as Ed Sheeran are more about the music than image.
As our artist will be signed to an independent label they will have more freedom with what they wear. This means they are able to put their own 'indie' style into their image.
Fishing in modern Rome
We will have our artists' song on three formats
iTunes, CD and Vinyl
Although our artist is signed to an independent label, it is still under the genre indie POP, because it has an element of pop, we will have more formats available for the audience.
