During the pre-production, production and research many different types of software and technology was used. All of which led to the success of my film and helped me improve my media knowledge on technology and key editing tools.

Final Cut Pro X

This software was used to create my anamatic and edit our film. This made me learn how to use different tools such as special effects to make the transitions between scenes smoother or effect the focus in the scene. Also Final cut pro made me learn how to export files to YouTube. Using this software proved to me the difficulties of editing and showed me how crucial it is to the success of a film. The cut tool was the most used due to the fact it was useful in cutting scenes at the right time. Also the marker (m) was useful for timings. Also we had to alter the light saturation in interrogation scene to not see the characters face fully. The tool was colour correction.

Garageband

Using Garageband I learned how to use an electronic keyboard. Also I learnt how hard making music is as there are many factors involved such as tempo, sound and different notes. Moreover Garageband did not have all instruments available which made it harder to create the right music, however the effects and tools available helped to create the right sound.

This was an indicator in tempo and timing and was where could alter the tune to make it more effective.

Social Media

Social Media has helped as videos produced had to be uploaded to youtube. This is a new skill as i have never used this option in youtube and opened up a new experience for me as i learn thow to easily upload videos, however some difficulties as when uploaded 7 seconds got cut off at the end. Overall it is useful for future projects. Furthermore Blogger was a big help and a new website I never used.
