  • “Two or three people" is all it takes to establish a Christian community, living in a community of some sort even if it's just living in Christian unity with your own spouse, is an important fundamental of the Christian life.
The Origins of CFC
  • Over the years, the Couples for Christ grew and developed under the leadership of LNP
  • 1985- Nina Ponte prophecy:
“God has given CFC His authority and blessing to win the world for Christ,”
was the revelation that inspired CFC to pursue a new vision.
  • August 1989 saw the realization of a prophecy “Rapid, massive, and global” was the evangelization thrust formally declared

  • In 1991, on its tenth anniversary, CFC bannered the tagline

The Origins of CFC: 1993
      • The Family Ministries were established

The Origins of CFC: 1997
CFC membership almost doubling year after year
The Statement of Vision and Mission amended to include “Bringing Glad Tidings to the Poor” as its mission.
 


Vatican recognized CFC as a private international association of the faithful and approved its statutes, for five years ad experimentum.

After 5 years of experimentation:

The Vatican gave its definitive recognition of CFC as a private international association of the faithful and approved its statutes!
