When deciding on my target audience, I never had a specific race which I based my magazine on. This is because my magazine doesn't include racial stereotypes. However, my magazine isn't very representative of a certain race. If I were to produce another magazine then race could be represented in a clearer way.

The target audience age that I decided to target my magazine at when conducting my research is 16-21. In the process of creating my magazine, I kept to this age. I ensured that the images in my magazine were people of this age range so that it would be appealing to my target audience due to the fact that it is more relatable for them. Although the artist featured in the magazine are in the age range of my target audience, it is not 100% representable because it dies not include images of people every age for my target audience. My price is appropriate for my age range target audience because it is not an expensive price considering it is monthly.

When conducting my research, I decided to make the gender for my target audience female. All the images that I used in my magazines are of females, I did this so that it would appeal more to my female target audience. The bright blue and bright pink colour scheme that I have used stereotypically appeals to females as they are 'girly' colours.If I were to create my magazine again, I would potentially include more images that attract some males.

The class that I based my magazine at is middle class, I received the information from the NRS social grading system. I didn't make my price too high because although the target audience is middle class, it still might be the children who is buying the magazine rather than their parents. My magazine is only directed at middle class so other classes may feel as they can not read it. If i were to create my magazine again then I would include more features that could appeal to all classes so that it would attract a larger target audience.

The genre that I have made my magazine is pop. So I tried to make my magazine as 'mainstream' as possible. I did this so that it would try to attract a lot of people. I made it seem popular as that is what my target audience will want to see.
