Skateboard
- The media department has a skateboard for filming purposes. I have used this for my prelim film, with an alternative group (opposite).
- We will use it while the narration is going on, as Astrid walks into college among other students. Someone will skate past her.
- We will use this to represent different interests within young people, and to experiment with ambient and foley sound.
Phone
- All members of the group have at least one redundant phone in their possession (mine is opposite). We will use one of these.
- We will use this in the second half of the title sequence, in a shot where Astrid is sitting alone among a crowd of people in groups. It is here that she will be using the phone.
- She will be using it because she doesn't have many people to talk to herself. This will indicate that she isn't popular.
Scarf
- I own the scarf we will use (opposite). We think it resonates quite well with Astrid's general style, so we chose this particular scarf for the title sequence.
- We will use it when Astrid encounters the antagonist, Daisie, in the title sequence. Daisie purposefully bumps shoulders with Astrid, and we will add in the pulling of her scarf.
- This will portray the tension and aggression between the two characters.
