From the roots up about protist
Acanthamoeba
  • Found in warm fresh bodies of water; lakes, ponds, and  moist soil.

  • Their prey are bacteria, paramecium, and algae.

  • Mussels (oysters and clams) and water fleas are acanthamoeda predators.

  • The affects on humans when the acanthamoeba enters a humans systems it feeds on cells within the digestive system.
Acanthamoeba
  • Amoeba is heterotrophic.

  • Asexual

  • Uses psuedopod to move and also eat.

  • A single-celled organisms.

  • A animal like cell.

  • Is unlike other protist because it uses psuedopod to eat and also move unlike others that does not contain psuedopod.

  • It is similar to other protist because it is located in warm bodies of water but not all protist are located in warm bodies of water only amoeba and euglena are located in warm bodies of water.
Plasmodium
  • They are located in warm fresh bodies of water; lakes, pond where mosquitos breed, and effected plasmodium.

  • Their prey are volvox (green algae).

  • Amoeba, Paramecium, frogs, and small fishes are their predators.

  • It can effect the nervous system that eats on brain cells, to the human body.

Plasmodium
  • Plasmodium are  heterotroph

  • Asexual

  • Plasmodium is heterotrophic.

  • Asexual

  • Uses flagellum to contain food and also uses flagellum to move.

  • A unicellular organisms.

  • A plant like cell.

  • This protist is different from other protist because it has a eye-spot unlike the other protist.

  • But it is also like other protist in some ways for example it contains chloroplast just like volvox which also contains chloroplast.

Paramecium Caudatum
  • Fresh bodies of water and moist soil is where they can be located.

  • Photosynthesis is their prey.

  • Their predators is euglen, and amoebas

  • It has no effects on humans.
Paramecium Caudatum
  • Paramecium Caudatum are heterotrophic.

  • Asexual

  • Uses  flagellum to contain food.
  • Paramecium Caudatum is heterotrophic

  • Asexual

  • Uses cilia to move

  • Uses cytostome, to let food items into their bodies.

  • A singled-celled organism.

  • A animal like cell.

  • Paramecium is different from other protist because it moves with cilia and uses cytostome to eat.

  • Paramecium is also alike in some ways for example it is located in fresh bodies of water like volvox which is also contained in fresh bodies of water.
Tertius
  • Fresh bodies of water makes up algae is where they can be found.

  • Makes its own food through photosynthesis.

  • Euglena, Paramecium, and amoebas are their predators.

  • It has no effects on human bodies.
Tertius
  • Asexual
  • Asexual

  • Uses  flagella to move.

  • Uses  photosynthesis to eat.

  • A multicellular organism.

  • A plant like cell.

  • This protist is different from other protist because it works in colonies.

  • It is alike in someways for example it contains chloroplast just like amoeba.
