Here the album cover is orange- which immediately captures the target audiences attention to the artist. This is because ed sheeran is very mush known to have 'ginger' hair as well making heart felt music.
The facial expression of
ed is very neutral. this could represent the style of songs within the album so they could be both upbeat and sad songs.

The main image used for the cover is a close up of ed's face , revealing the identity of the artists but not in as much detail. the restricted exposure of ed's identity creates a sense of the idea of 'coming out of the shadows'. this can be linked his new fame and fist successful album release and also to his limited presence in the music videos created for the songs on the 'plus' album
