There are four different types of projection that use longitude and latitude to determine location. Gall-Peters projection - is a rectangle. Mercator Projection - is a square. Goode-Homolosine- is an irregular projection. It is not recangular at all but is still accurate. Robinson Projection-Is a like a globe but flat

Relative Location vs Absolute Location
Relative- uses landmarks and buildings to show location
Ex: 5 blocks north of Wawa
Absolute- uses latitude and longitude to show location
Ex: 20 degrees latitude 30 degrees longitude
Latitude and Longitude Lines
Latitude lines- east to west lines
Longitude lines- north to south lines
