Our mascot at UNT is a mean green eagle named scrappy. UNT is a public school located in Dallas, Fort Worth. Our school is one of the nations largest public schools in the nation with 36,221 students and about 4,000 staff members.

cAMPUS LIFE
Freshman are required to live on campus at UNT as long as space is available, although on campus dinning for freshman's is optional. If you do decide to eat at UNT, then it's only $2.84 per meal.

Acceptance Rate: 61.5%
GPA : At least a 2.0
SAT : Rank in the next 15% and have a minimum of a  950 on the reasoning test.
ACT : At least a 20 on a reasoning test.
Finances And Scholarships
In 2013 the yearly tuition amount ranged from $2,833 - 28,728.
But for those living in-state there is a 49% discount off tuition fees. 51% of freshman come with some sort of financial aid.
For scholarships they have an Excellence, Meritorious  and a Academic Scholarship.
