What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
Final Draft evaluation - Question 6
What different technologies have I used during the process of creating my final draft?
Throughout the process of creating my final draft, I have used multiple different pieces of technology that have helped me during the pre-production phase and post production. I have also used many different pieces of hardware and software during the production phase. During the pre-production phase I used the website 'Blogger to share how I researched and planned for my final draft, I also used 'Prezi' to showcase my work and I also used a scanner to help upload things that I had drawn by hand. Throughout the production phase, I mostly used Adobe Premiere to edit my final draft, I also used Adobe Photoshop. I used a Canon 700D to record all of the shots in my thriller opening sequence. In the post-production phase I have used Blogger, Prezi, Powerpoint, Slideshare, and Windows Live Movie Maker.
Adobe Premiere Pro/Photshop
Elliot and myself used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit our final draft for our thriller opening sequence, we also used it on our first draft edit. We found it fairly easy to use since we didn't do any complex editing such as adding special effects to our opening sequence.
I used the razor tool during the editing stage to trim down pieces of footage to make them the right length for the opening sequence.

Elliot and myself used the 'Fx' button to add different effects to shots in our opening sequence. We most commonly used it to alter the volume of certain sounds. We used it in the clip that is available to watch below:
We used Adobe Photoshop to produce our production companiy logo.
To remove the teddy bear from its white background I used the 'Magentic Lasso' tool, this tool allowed me to accurately mark out the are of the picture that we needed to remove with ease.
For the title we used the font 'Dharma Punk' which we sourced off the website 'Dafont', for the background we simply used a black canvas then used the gradient tool to fade it into a grey towards the top of the logo. We also used the gradient tool to make the font fade from black to white.
By using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop we have learnt new skills such as how to make sound fade in and gradually increase in volume. By practising on these softwares before hand during our preliminary task I found it fairly easy to use them and didn't really have any problems during the editing process apart from when files sometimes went missing from the premiere file.
What have I learnt from using these softwares?
Prezi/Emaze
This is one of my Emazes which I have used to evaluate my final draft, I chose to use this website to create my presentation because it is easy to use and the templates that are available make it simple to make a professional looking presentation
What I learnt from using these Technologies
By using Prezi and Emaze to create presentations I found out that there are other websites that I could use to make presentations rather than using the presentation software 'PowerPoint'. I also learnt how to use the embed tool so that I could put previous presentations that I have made in this presentation.
Blogger
I used the blogging website 'Blogger' throughout the entirety of my coursework to record all of the work that I have done. The website is easy to use and allows me to post all of the work that I have done for other people to view it. All of the work that I have completed have is visible on my home page which makes it easy for me to view and edit pieces of work that I have done.

The work that I have done on Blogger includes my Analysis of Responses and Analysis of Thriller opening sequences such as Se7en, The Silence of The Lambs, and North by Northwest.
Canon 700D
To record all of the footage that was used in my thriller opening sequence. When using this camera I used the auto focus tool to reduce the shots being blurry in my opening scene and used the zoom on the lens for close-up shots.
