How I used Photoshop to create my music video...
Photoshop is an easy to use image editing app that  proved to be very useful whilst creating my print products. I chose to use this software in order to make my images and final print products look to the highest standard, as I took advantage of the numerous features it has to offer. Firstly, I removed any unwanted backgrounds using the magic wand tool, I then used the paint brush tool to identify the right colours and fill in a new, smoother background. I altered my images to look clean and professional, I did this by touching them up mostly using the air brush and healing brush tool.

Whats app was very helpful  for receiving feedback on my products. I was able to easily post pictures into groups and gather feedback on how to improve and what I did well. It was also the main way of communication between myself and my team members, we contacted each other about meeting points when filming and planning for our music video.
I used you tube throughout my project, I used it to find case studies similar to my concept and genre to relate to and get ideas from. This was where I also posted videos in order to embed them on to my blog, so everyone would be able to see.
I used google when searching for places to film and visit that would be suitable for our concept. I also widely used google gmail to login to blogger and check my gmail for any updates when I had emailed the record company, locations we were going to film at. My YouTube was also linked to this which I used to research and analyse case studies and draw inspiration from them.
Adobe Premiere Pro is a timeline-based video editing software application , I used  this soft ware a lot when creating my music video. It was very easy to use after you get used to the way it works. I was able to easily insert various clips and cut and edit them together .Personally I really enjoyed creating my music video with this software, it made the process more interesting. I felt like I learnt  a lot.

After using and practising Premiere Pro for a while I learnt new and fascinating techniques. For example, if I had shaky footage I used the wrap stabiliser to steady it out. I enjoyed using the various effects and editing techniques on this program, it made my music video look more professional.

Prezi is a presentation software that I use regularly to present and discuss my work with my teacher and my peers, this helped ,we receive helpful feedback. Prezi is one of my favourite technologies to work with as it is very easy to use and I could express my ideas creatively in pre-production stages. I took advantage of the various features it has to offer to make my work look its best. I mostly use Prezi to present group work, there was a simple and quick way that allowed my group and I to edit the same Prezi we were working on
(this was very useful).
I used Emaze in the evaluation stages of my work for questions 3 and 4, I choose emaze as it has a range of features and I can include images of my print work and my music video and add text to discuss the relevant points.
I used google docs and google slides as it was very simple to control and saved automatically each time, which guaranteed the safety of my work. It is a place where I could easily and quickly share my work with my group members and also my teacher, where she could feedback and edit my work and send it back afterwards.
I used google slides to present my question 2 evaluation question, it was easy to embed onto my blog so my teacher could see and mark.
I used a DSLR camera for my construction stage, I had learned a lot of techniques when recording for my music video, this mostly consisted of lighting adjustments and controlling the ISO. I thought the camera work was simple if you had all the settings right. I also used the camera when recording feedback sessions or when I was presenting my work to the class, I then posted my videos on you tube and embedded them on to my blog so I could go back and review them.
I heavily used word during my course work process, I used it to write drafts on as it was much simpler,  I would then transfer it on to other technologies or print it out. For my my production stages I used it to create risk assessments, location releases, call sheets, actor release forms.
I used Apple macs for post-production stages, I used it to edit and put my music video together. This was to access adobe suite apps such Premiere Pro which was only compatible with the apple macs where I would save and come back to my work.
I used blogger a lot to present my work and progress. I posted anything from ideas for my project to final pieces. If I worked on another technology I could easily embed it on to my blog, so everyone could see it. I was able to personalise and develop my blog over time, it has many useful aspects like letting me link the blogs of my members on my homepage. I was also able to save drafts of my posts so I could come back and edit and improve them; make them ready to post.
LSC moodle (VLE) is where I would go to go over class work and find resources such as empty call sheets, risk assessments, actor release forms etc.
I used the studio when filming footage for my music video, it allowed me to use the different light settings to achieve different looks. I was also able to get a smooth, plain background because of the back drop. the back drop was very useful for our concept, we needed the audience to focus mainly on the artist and we could achieve that with this.
