IThis is the largest and most popular search engine on the web which made it very practical for my coursework. I used it search for images to stick on presentations and other elements of my work. It was also the link to all of the technologies and searches that I used for things such as my music video. For example I used it to look up lyrics for the song 'Do Better' and I used it too research my case studies. from information such as record labels, artist bio's and discographies.

This was used very frequently as I used it for many tasks. First of all I utilized it to find all the music videos I wanted to use for my case studies at the start of the year. That wasn't all it was useful for as it helped me find songs that I wanted to use for my music video and feed it back to my group. I also uploaded all of my feedback videos we filmed in class on YouTube as it is easier to embed in other technologies such as prezi, blogger, and wix. i used this a lot more as it helped me gather up ideas for making my music video as it introduced me to a variety of different videos.

Whatsapp is a social media messaging applications for mobiles that  my group used to contact each other and the other actors in the video. we discussed what time we were meeting atthe locations for the video and exchanged information about the course and sent each other images to put on each of our blogs etc. 

I was very comfortable using the DSLR camera this time around as I've actually had experience using this type of camera. this was from using it last year in the AS unit before breaking up for summer. At the start of the A2 we also got more practice and made a rough music video. Because of this I did not encounter a lot of problems when filming our video, however I was not always using the equipment. I was learning how to use the white balance, shutter speed and ISO and doing photography A Level really helped with taking pictures for my print products. 

This is the software that is installed on to the Apple Macs. this was not my first time using it as we had practice before starting this project. the fact that we used it during pre-production made it a lot more easier when editing as I didn't face that many difficulties during the process. I found editing really because I learnt how to add the transitions, slow down the speed of clips and change the opacity of videos while layering them. It took some time to make sure the lip syncing was on point but eventually we manged to sync everything together. Nevertheless, this was a great experience for me and since the construction of the music video, I have been using Final Cut Pro for audience feedback and even non media related stuff, such as music coursework.

I used photoshop for my magazine cover last year in the AS unit and we had to use it to create the print products. I used photoshop many time prior to using it for the products however I still discover new ways and feature every time I do use it. I did not do anything risky and adventurous this time around but I still managed to use this software effectively as I still tried my best to make my products simple but eye catching. Learning to make the physical CD design took some time as I have never done something as such before. Once I learned evrything else was a breeze.

We have used this for our coursework ever since the start of the AS unit. This allows us to keep tabs on everything we have either done, produced or learned throughout the course. We can embed all our work from thing to videos to presentations which make it easier to keep all of our documents and creations all in one place. Mine and my fellow media students blogs are all connected through the leyton media hub which makes it so we can check each others blog and give one another feedback on our work. Our teachers also check and mark our work using our blogs too.
