How effective is the combination of your main product (video) and ancillary texts (digipak/website)?

We decided to use two elements of synergy, these being a bowler hat and a guitar.
Bowler hat: it is a minimal but effective item in showing the general aspect of the folk genre.
Guitar: we were inspired by Gabrielle Aplin's video "Panic Cord" as she uses a guitar. However, it was also due to the fact that the backing track of the original song is a guitar that we decided to include the guitar in our video.
For the website I decided to create the background using the guitar and the bowler hat as well as a black picture. Then, I used an image of our own artist where she appears with the bowler hat and placed the image in the background.
In order for our potential audience to recognise and therefore relate to our artist River, I decided to use the same background I had created for the website. However, I had to use a different picture of River looking directly at the audience.
For the inner plan of the digipak, I chose a picture of Hampstead Heath I had taken when we were filming our music video. For the CD I used the image of a guitar, making it look like it was a guitar as it is one of our objects of synergy.

Links between my media products:
The bowler hat and guitar appear in the website, digipak and music video. The location for the music video is Hampstead Heath and I decided to use a picture of the setting taken by me as the background of the inner plan of my digipak.
How can my audience recognise them?
They can recognise the bowler hat and guitar because they are in the three media products. The reason for me to use the image of a guitar as a CD is because I was not happy with a picture of our own artist where she had a guitar, mainly because it was taken from the actual music video and I did not want to use pictures from the video.

How successful do I think my main and ancillary products are?
I think the music video is successful because we followed other similar music artists from the folk genre as an inspiration for our main media product as well as followed the same forms of conventions of the folk genre.
For my ancillary texts:
I feel like the website is not quite successful because it could have been better with another choice of picture as a background. However, I was inspired by Gabrielle Aplin's website (our original artist). Therefore, I am happy with the result.
For the digipak, I used the same background as on the website in order for audience to relate to our fictional artist easily. I think this links perfectly with the three media products making all of them successful.
My target audience
I think my target audience would be attracted to my media products because the two elements of synergy are in all of them, making it easy for my potential audience to identify them and therefore recognise and relate to our fictional artist. They would be attracted to them because they are more than likely to be keen on music (that is what the guitar is for) and like the folk genre where the bowler hat gives a folk sense.
