'Bebas' is a font that I found on Dafont.com and it is similar (if not the same as)  Stromzy's 'Dreamers Disease' album cover font. Therefore I should really consider this font as S.Dot and Stormzy share the same genre of music and therefore the same audience. So, S.Dot's audience would be able to identify what type of artist he is and what to expect from the album because Bebas is a popular font that is used by many UK rap artists. I think that this font is popular amongst UK Rap artists because it is strong, bold and simplistic. The font does not distract the viewers attention away from the main imagery that is shown on the front cover, it simply tells you who the artist is and/or the name of the album. 

I decided that I want an ongoing theme of the colour black and white throughout the entire ancillary for S.Dot. This is because black and white is simplistic and helps to make the audience focus on the specific parts of the ancillary that I want them to.

An example of a black and white ancillary product is Wretch 32's Black and White album. The black and white helps the artist stand out in the middle of the image because he is the darkest part of the front cover, it also helps to highlight his tattoo which is a synergetic USP because it links to his name and will help audiences and new fans remember him. Black and white is also a popular colour scheme amongst well known brands that S.Dot's target audience is accustomed to and may be consumers of.

I was thinking of using this image of the two artists together as either an inside image of the digipak or for it to be the background image of the tracklist section of the digipak. The tracklist would then be layered over the bottom of the image.

I want this close up image of S.Dot to be the central image on the front cover of the digipak. The image will also be featured on the website for synergetic purposes.
