Our decided Institution
Film 4 was our final institution.
Why we chose Film 4.
- It has distributed films like “Suffragettes”, “12 Years a Slave” and“The Iron Lady”.
- These film are both the sort of genre, a there were historical or period dramas, we were trying to create.
- It also has help with other lower budget films like ours.
- We looked at suffragettes and the iron lady due to their strong female leads.
Where would the film be distributed?
Our film would be distributed England to begin with.
Why??
• It is our first film so we are not known for they is
going to be hesitant to watch it.
• Also the theme of our film includes British history
which means an international audience may not be as
interested.

How would the film be distributed?
Our film would be distributed in some small independent cinemas. This could include Phoenix Cinema in London and Watershed in Bristol. After a limited release our film will be put online on a streaming service similar to Netflix.

• As we are a low budget film.
• It our first film and we are not known.
• The theme of are film is not a universal so has a smaller target
audience.

Where we hope our will end up.
We hope our film could end up in Everyman. We also hope after cinema relesase our film would be brought by main stream like Netflix.
We understand our film is not Oden suitable due to the theme and genre that is why we want it to be shown in art houses.
