Question 3:

What have you learned from your audience feedback?

From the clip on the left , the general feedback is mostly positive. They liked the mirror effect used at the beginning of the song and they also liked how well the video was well lit despite it being shot in the dark. Questions were asked about whether studio shots should be used , However I didn't feel it would work well with what I was going for. I felt like studio shots would remove that connection with the audience because I would be going back and forth from location to studio , as I felt that the location allowed the connection with the artist and the audience to be built. As I explained i was going for a modernised 90s vibe the understood and suggested that i kept the whole video location based. They also asked if the artist was going to be starring alone in the video , which she was , and said that they liked the mysteriousness of it. After the useful feedback , I realised that the video was heading in the right direction and continued from there.
First Feedback
Second Feedback
The second feedback I received was after post-production. I made a group chat with a couple people , females , that were target audience and see what they thought and whether they liked it . The feedback was generally positive with comments like they loved the way the video quality looked and reminded them of the 90s. They also said that they didn't usually listen to slow songs but really enjoyed it because the video was intriguing. The use of the different camera shots like the close ups , the mid shots etc. they enjoyed , as well as the authorage the artist had. The future suggestions they gave were , they wanted aerial shots because they felt like they location was nice and wanted to see more of it. Another criticism was that they wanted the artist to become more involved with the surroundings for example , throwing leaves the the air etc.
