Thesis the beginning of y short film, it will consist of a montage of clips and events.
I will be using a filter to represent a dream. At the start I'll start it of slow and progressivly speed up until the last clip of someone getting hit by a car to build up tension and wake the main protagonist from the dream.
I will be using a soundtrack over the montage.
After the dream the main protagonist will wake up and there camera angle used will be an extreme close up. Then a transition to a mid-shot.
Sound effects within this scene will be amplified breathing
For the next scene this could be where i use the opening credits of the main protagonist going down stairs and the start of a soundtrack. This will consist of a low tracking shot
This is going to be an eye line match from the protagonist to the sink and a first person perspective. I could also use a close up on the main character turning on the tap as well. Sound will be the tap and water. I'm unsure if i will add a small deja vu moment or flashback while the drink is being filmed.
This is when the drink will fall over and think will be filmed in slow motion, this is when the deja vu moment will occur. It will flash back to a clip on the drink falling over in his dream.
For the next deja vu/premonition event the main protagonsit is going to trip over a book which he saw the front cover of in his dream.
For this scene i was thinking of using a zoom shot on the front cover to make sure that its clear its the same book in his dream.
Then the main protagonist will prevent himself from falling due to hie dream and premonition of falling over.
this will be an extreme me close up of the protagonist to show when he realises.
After realising what is going on the character decides to research his condition.
For this scene I had an idea of a close up of the character
For this scene i was thinking of overlapping the screen over the character face so it looks like the camera is behind the screen of the laptop.
This scene is where the character attempts to prevents a death from happening so he frantically tries to find the location of the event. When he see the name of the road this triggers a flashback.
The next flashback will be him seeing the car turning down the road. this will be when dramatic music comes in to build up tension to the ending
This will be a clip of a character crossing the road without noticing the car coming down the road.
before the car gets near the character I will include a jump cut to the main characters face with a close up.
Then it will cut to black and the sound of the car breaking and someone being hit will carry on playing during the black screen so the audience can decide whether the main protagonist saved the character and got himself killed or if he let it happen and the civilian got hit.
