Indus river turtles

DESCRIPTION
Freshwater turtles of Pakistan are found in the entire Indus River. These turtles are responsible for cleaning the aquatic environment by feeding upon dead organic material and diseased fish .Pakistan also hosts two species of terrestrial land tortoises. Habitat of these tortoises is semi-desert and dry rocky hills.Freshwater turtles being a keystone species, also control the population of fish.
Animals affected by human acts

- Leakage in ships and oil spill from factories
Conclusion
Create awareness among people that we should not hunt them. And by protecting their natural habitat. We should not pollute the water they are living in. There are countless ways in which you can make a positive difference in the lives of sea
turtles. Organize a clean-up day with your friends and clear the beach of litter, give a
presentation to your neighborhood or local school on things they can do to save sea
turtles, and most importantly, talk to others about what they can do to make sure they
are not putting these important creatures in danger.
