AS MUSIC MAGAZINE EVALUATION
AGE
The demographic for country music is mostly middle aged people as the younger generation such as teenagers do not have much insight in country music but however have more interest in hip hop as it is advertised regularly in comparison to country. The models I used for my front cover and double page spread are aged between 16-18 which does not conform to the age group of audience that would be interested in country music. However I decided to use younger models even though  most people that are into country music are older because I want to get a variety of age groups to become more familiar with country music and see country music in a different light. Adding to this I want people in particular the younger demographic to acknowledge that country music isn't just for older people but for teenagers too and that country music consists of artist who are aged from different ages both young and old. 
GENDER
Looking back at my final outcome I have recognised that I have only used female models and therefore haven't represented gender equally.The reason why I used only female models was because in general females are more dominant in the country music industry in comparison to males. As I only used females as models this can give an image that this magazine is gender specific and  directed towards women and less towards men. However, my magazine is directed towards both male and females and therefore an improvement could be to have male models so that it is clear that the magazine is aimed towards both genders. 
ETHNICITY
A stereotype of country music would be that the artists are mostly White and no other artists are of a different ethnicity. However, for my front cover the model i have used is Latina which subverts the stereotype that country music artists are mostly of White ethnicity. I decided to use a model of a different ethnicity to express that my magazine is versatile and is not only limited to appeal to one specific ethnicity. As country music originated in America it is most likely that country artists are of white ethnicity however I wanted to change this by having a model that is not within this ethnic group .as it can offer a wider range of different ethnic groups.
REGION
My magazine does not represent a particular region  as I wanted my magazine to be appealing and available to any region all over the world. Country music is not very popular around the world and is highly recognised in America,  so I wanted my magazine to appeal to all regions across the globe so that the awareness of country music increases and a higher amount of people will start to listen to country music often. This is also the reason why I used a  model that subverts the typical stereotype that country artist are of white ethnicity for my front cover as it will advertise that country music if for anyone, anywhere across different regions.
CLASS
My magazine does not focus on a specific class as I wanted to broaden my target audience and would did not want to affect my marketing production. My models are not wearing formal clothing, they are in casual clothing which implies that anyone of any class can purchase and read this magazine. I personally did not want my magazine to be aimed directly at a certain class because it would be unfair  to those within different classes. I also think that the price of the magazine is a suitable to fit into any class as it is not highly priced.  I think its best that my magazine is not class specific as different classes are eligible to buy my magazine.
SEXUALITY
Overall, I think that my magazine is presented in a respectful way and would not offend a specific sexuality. I considered my target audience as i did not want to disrespect or offend them in any way so that anyone would be welcome to purchase and read my magazine. Although it can be argued that because I have only used female models I may be directing towards a specific sexuality and not considering other existing sexuality.
